1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Makor Water Systems website and your engagement with our water filtration consultation, testing, and installation services in Knoxville, Tennessee, and surrounding East Tennessee communities. By accessing our website, requesting a consultation, or purchasing services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our website, request services, or opt in to our text messaging program.

3. Complimentary In-Home Water Quality Testing

Makor Water Systems offers complimentary in-home water testing for homeowners in Knox County and adjacent service territories.

• Our complimentary water analysis provides real-time field readings for parameters including chlorine/chloramines, hardness (grains per gallon), total dissolved solids (TDS), and pH.
• Field tests are intended for sizing filtration and reverse osmosis equipment and are not certified state environmental laboratory diagnostics. Certified third-party certified lab panels (e.g. detailed coliform or heavy volatile panels) can be arranged upon request.
• Consultations carry no obligation to purchase. All quotes provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated in writing.

4. System Proposals & Installations

Upon agreement on a customized Whole Home Filtration or Reverse Osmosis package:

• Installation dates are scheduled upon homeowner approval and equipment staging.
• All plumbing and bypass work is performed in accordance with standard plumbing best practices and local East Tennessee municipal codes.
• Homeowners are responsible for providing reasonable access to main water shut-off valves, electrical outlets (if required for automatic control valves or pumps), and kitchen sink cabinetry.

5. Equipment Warranties & Workmanship

We stand firmly behind the quality of our filtration tanks, control heads, RO systems, and installation artistry:

• Manufacturer Warranties: Equipment tanks, control valves, and reverse osmosis storage vessels carry their respective manufacturer defect warranties.
• Workmanship Guarantee: Makor Water Systems warrants its installation plumbing joints, fittings, and connections against leaks and installation defects for one (1) full year from the completion date.
• Consumable Media: Routine consumables such as sediment cartridges, carbon blocks, and reverse osmosis membranes require periodic replacement based on incoming water quality and household gallons used.

6. SMS / Text Messaging

You must be at least 18 years old to opt in to receive text messages from Makor Water Systems LLC. By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box, you agree to receive text messages from Makor Water Systems. Non-marketing messages include appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling, service updates, and filter replacement notices. Marketing messages (offers and promotions) are sent only if you separately opt in. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. 7. Limitation of Liability

While our systems are engineered to significantly reduce or eliminate targeted contaminants, municipal water quality can vary seasonally due to main line repairs, seasonal turnover, or environmental events. Makor Water Systems is not liable for indirect or consequential damages beyond the cost of services rendered or equipment supplied.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal actions arising from services shall be resolved in the appropriate court in Knox County, Tennessee.
